Invitation to join our young academics' symposium!

On Friday, 11 April 2014, a young academics' symposium on „RELIGIOUS: advisable? useful?“ is taking place: especially for young researchers, completly without charges and with interesting papers and debates.

parallel to the international conference on „Humanity and Religion“. This symposium is designed specifically for young researchers, graduate and postgraduate students. Closely connected and related to the main conference, its aim is for international young academics to network, exchange views and present current research projects and dissertation projects.

Participating in our young academics symposium is free of charge. However, if you wish to attend lectures or workshops of the accompanying international conference as well, charges apply accordingly. As the number of participants is limited, we kindly ask you to register personally with Mag. Bernhard Kirchmeier (


The symposium is taking place in the seminar room of the Department of Ethics and Law (Institut für Ethik und Recht), Medical Faculty (Alte Kapelle), University of Vienna Campus (Spitalgasse 2 – 4, 1090 Wien/Vienna).


You are a young scientist and dealing with certain callenges of contemporary religious practice? You wish to publish parts of your research project? Great, because we are looking for your text!

Your article with a maximum of 20 pages (approx. 35.000 characters). can be submitted until Friday, 25th of April 2014 . Please contact and add a short CV to your article.
